    Dynamic duo alert!

Hanna and Jaden will lure you into another dimension with their curated & customized personal eco-fashion collections!

They initially caught the attention of our zine staff at a PULP show in Hollywood. Their eclectic, retro-inspired styles blur the lines between timeless runway vampire vibes, punk/glam rock (70s), new wave/goth (80s), and brit pop (90s) w/ a sprinkle of contemporary detail.

After getting to know them, we've learned that they are devoted vintage shoppers and upcyclers (in addition to creating in just about every other aspect of their lives).

We think they'd make stellar sustainable-fashion stylists, if they should decide to lend their talents to film, episodics, music videos and/or photography sets.

"Being sustainable in the fashion I choose is incredibly important to me, both in my style and my environmental impact. Since I began thrifting in my early teens, it has really allowed me to develop and experiment with my personal style and fashion. I think that thrifting and secondhand shopping can be an incredibly important tool to dress for your own happiness rather than succumbing to what is trendy but will soon cycle out of trend. I love all things vintage, especially 70s-80s subculture, music, and fashion, and thrifting allows me to be able to recreate and re-envision styles from those eras, even if those pieces aren't necessarily from then. I love the challenge of trying to put the thrifted pieces within my closet together that maybe don't look fantastic on their own, but when styled together they can make something amazing. There's no better feeling to me than putting on a great thrifted outfit, knowing that I look good and that I am doing good by preserving items that already exist and not actively contributing to the production of fast fashion and all the harm the industry produces."

"Sustainability in fashion has always played a huge part in my life. Growing up, my parents would always take me thrifting and a lot of the things we owned were secondhand, which is what introduced me to sustainable fashion. I just love the idea of finding unique pieces at secondhand shops or thrift stores and being able to experiment with fashion for cheap, while also saving garments from going to waste."

"Get creative with your closet! Some methods I love using to maximize the possibilities of my preexisting clothes are: turning shirts into skirts (or vice versa), layering a skirt over a dress, wearing pieces backwards, bleaching/dyeing garments a different color, and adding graphics/logos to pieces by cutting stencils out of card-stock or stamps out of erasers. See if you have something sitting in your closet that you can use one of these techniques on to improve your rewear of it!"

"Millions of clothes end up in landfills every year, and fast fashion brands are a huge contributor to the global waste crisis. In order to lessen the amount of textile waste, shopping sustainably through thrifting or even online secondhand clothing sites instead of purchasing mass produced clothing from large corporations can make a huge difference! Another useful tool to stay eco friendly that I have learned is to learn basic sewing. Sewing opens up a world of possibilities with what you are able to do within your own closet, such as personalizing and altering garments. For example, I love personalizing a simple garment by sewing graphic patches from bands, movies, etc. onto clothing. I think the art of sewing and repairing the clothes you already have has become lost in a world where everything is cheaply bought and disposed of quickly."
